Overview

The programme provides a broad foundation of business skills tailored to the needs of entrepreneurs and business leaders who have the desire to create a better future through outstanding business leadership, whether that be as an entrepreneur, senior executive or social entrepreneur.

As students work their way through a unique learning experience that includes tailored learning activities and exclusive video content standing on the shoulders of hundreds of the world’s most successful and inspiring leaders, from Presidents and Prime Ministers to Nobel Prize winners and leading academics, students will be supported in the development of their business acumen.

Modules

On this programme, students will cover a range of business areas.

Level 4 (Year 1) begins with business fundamentals, introducing students to key ideas which underpin areas, such as, management, marketing, finance, and developing business models.

Level 5 (Year 2) seeks to build on the knowledge gained at Level 4, studying wider business areas, such as the digital disruption to business, HR management, and business accountability.

Level 6 (Year 3) builds on the knowledge gained at Level 4 and 5, developing real-world business skills, studying topics such as, how organisations change, management strategies, and pathway specific modules.

Entry Criteria

88 UCAS points plus 2 UK GCSE/GCE O level passes at Grade A–C in Maths and English; or significant work experience* plus 2 UK GCSE/GCE O level passes at Grade A–C in Maths and English.

*Work experience will be considered on an individual basis.

Assessment

Assessment methods vary from module to module but you can expect a range of assessments including, reports, presentations and analyses. Assessments combine academic rigour with authentic “real-world” tasks that demonstrate a student’s ability to meaningfully apply their knowledge and skills.
